This fast-acting gel uses silicic acid (silica gel) as its active ingredient to help dry out cold sore blisters by binding fluid and secretions. The physical mode of action forms a protective film and helps limit spread while remaining gentle on delicate lip skin.

Applied at the first tingling, it helps relieve burning, itching and discomfort as the lesion progresses. The clear, non-greasy gel is easy to apply and suitable for frequent use during the active phase.

Wash hands, then apply a thin layer to the affected area up to 5 times daily. Continue until the cold sore has healed. For external use on the lips only; avoid contact with eyes.
