Bee & You Mineral Sunscreen For Body SPF 50 80ml

Bee & You Mineral Sunscreen for Body SPF 50 is a mineral-based sun protection lotion formulated for use on exposed areas of the body. Supplied in a compact 80ml tube, it is suitable for carrying in a handbag, beach bag, sports bag or travel case.

The formula uses 15% non-nano zinc oxide as its mineral UV filter. Zinc oxide remains on the surface of the skin and forms part of the product's protective layer when the sunscreen is applied evenly and in sufficient quantity.

With an SPF 50+ rating, the sunscreen is designed to provide a high level of protection against UVB radiation when used according to the directions on the packaging. Sunscreen should always be applied generously and evenly, as applying too little product will reduce the level of protection provided.

The formulation also contains aloe vera leaf juice, shea butter and jojoba seed oil. These ingredients form part of the lotion base and help give the sunscreen a smooth, spreadable consistency. Panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, also known as vitamin E, and propolis extract are also included.

Caprylic/capric triglyceride, coco-caprylate/caprate and dicaprylyl carbonate act as emollient ingredients, helping the lotion spread across the skin. Silica, xanthan gum and naturally derived emulsifiers help maintain the texture and stability of the formula.

The manufacturer describes the sunscreen as water resistant. It should still be reapplied regularly, particularly after swimming, perspiring, towel drying or extended periods outdoors. Water resistance does not mean that a sunscreen remains effective indefinitely in water.

The 80ml format is intended for body application and can be used on areas such as the arms, legs, shoulders and torso. Care should be taken to cover easily missed areas and to allow the product to settle before dressing.

How to use

Apply generously and evenly to exposed areas of the body before sun exposure. Make sure that all exposed skin is covered and allow the product to settle before dressing.

Reapply frequently to maintain protection, particularly after swimming, perspiring or towel drying. Always follow the application and reapplication directions printed on the product packaging.

Do not rely on sunscreen alone during prolonged sun exposure. Seek shade where possible and use suitable clothing, sunglasses and a sun hat. Avoid excessive exposure to strong sunlight, particularly during the hottest part of the day.

Important information: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Contains propolis and beeswax. Check the complete ingredient list before use if you have a known sensitivity to bee-derived ingredients. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep the container securely closed when not in use.
