Calder's Kitchen Traditional Piccalilli is based on Grandad Charlie's family recipe, with roots going back to the 1950s. Each jar combines chopped cauliflower, courgette, gherkin, onion and carrot in a classic mustard and mild curry pickle, creating the familiar bright colour, vegetable crunch and sweet-sharp character expected from traditional British piccalilli.

The vegetables make up 41% of the recipe and retain enough texture to give the condiment a satisfying bite. Mild curry powder, mustard and turmeric provide warmth and savoury depth without turning the pickle hot, while spirit vinegar and sugar create the balance of acidity and sweetness that makes piccalilli so versatile.
