Ecover Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Liquid Lavender & Sandalwood is a concentrated liquid detergent formulated for washing white and colourfast laundry. Its non-biological formula cleans without the enzymes commonly used in biological detergents, making it a practical option for households that prefer a non-bio laundry product.

The concentrated formula uses surfactants and other cleaning ingredients to lift dirt and stains from washable fabrics. Ecover states that it also helps prevent white fabrics from becoming grey with repeated washing. The liquid can be used for everyday clothing, bedding, towels and other machine-washable textiles, provided the individual garment care instructions are followed.

The fragrance combines wild lavender and geranium with bright lemon notes, finished with warm amber and sandalwood character. This provides a gently floral and woody scent without changing the product’s core function as an everyday laundry detergent.

A standard 4kg to 5kg load in soft or medium water requires approximately 35ml. Based on this dosage, the 5-litre refill provides approximately 142 standard washes. For larger 6kg to 8kg loads, heavily soiled laundry or hard-water areas, Ecover recommends increasing the dosage to 50ml.

The detergent is suitable for washing at temperatures between 30°C and 60°C. It can also be used for hand washing by dissolving approximately 53ml in 5 litres of warm water. Gloves should be worn when hand washing to avoid prolonged direct contact with the detergent.

This laundry liquid is intended for white and colourfast items. It should not be used for wool or silk, for which Ecover recommends its dedicated Delicate Laundry Liquid. Do not allow undiluted detergent to dry on fabrics, and always follow the washing-machine instructions and the care label attached to each garment.

Ecover states that the product is made with consciously selected biodegradable ingredients, is dermatologically tested and is suitable for use with septic tanks. The concentrated 5-litre format is designed for refilling smaller laundry-liquid containers and reduces the frequency with which replacement packs need to be purchased.
