Epicure Pineapple Spears in Light Syrup are large-cut pieces of pineapple packed to preserve their naturally juicy texture and bright tropical flavour. Sourced from the Pacific coast of Peru, the fruit is minimally handled and presented in generous spears rather than smaller chunks, making it particularly well suited to desserts, baking and serving straight from the jar.

The recipe contains 59.46% pineapple spears, together with water, sugar, natural pineapple juice and citric acid. The light syrup adds gentle sweetness without overpowering the fruit, while the larger cut helps retain the characteristic bite and texture of the pineapple.

Serve chilled on its own, spoon over ice cream, yoghurt or pancakes, or use the spears to decorate cheesecakes, trifles and other desserts. They can also be chopped into fruit salads, folded into cakes and bakes, or used as a topping for brunch dishes where a sweet tropical fruit flavour works well.
