Gran Luchito Chipotle Paste 6 x 100g

Gran Luchito Chipotle Paste is a rich, smoky Mexican chilli paste made with a blend of chipotle and other Mexican chillies, caramelised onions, dark agave nectar and balsamic vinegar. Deep, savoury and spicy with a touch of sweetness, it is designed to add concentrated smoky flavour to everything from chilli and fajitas to marinades, tacos and slow-cooked meats.

Chipotle chillies make up 7% of the recipe and provide the paste with its distinctive smoky heat. They are blended with safflower oil, onions, dark agave nectar, balsamic vinegar, garlic, spirit vinegar, salt and spices, creating a balanced combination of smokiness, sweetness, acidity and warmth.

A little goes a long way. Stir a spoonful into chilli con carne, rub onto steak before grilling, spread over fajitas, or mix into marinades for chicken and pork. It also works particularly well in pulled pork, huevos rancheros, enchilada sauces and other Mexican-inspired dishes where you want a deeper chilli flavour.

For a quick smoky dip or taco sauce, blend a small amount with sour cream or a plant-based alternative. You can also stir it into beans, sauces and casseroles, or mix with butter for a rich, spicy finish to vegetables, corn or grilled meats.

Gran Luchito Chipotle Paste is made in Mexico, suitable for vegan diets, gluten free and verified non-GMO. This case contains six individual 100g jars, providing a total of 600g. Once opened, refrigerate and use within six weeks.
