Hunter & Gather Grass-Fed British Organic Ghee 450g

Hunter & Gather Grass-Fed British Organic Ghee is a rich, golden clarified butter made in the UK from certified organic British dairy butter sourced from grass-fed cows. Slowly clarified to remove water and milk solids, it has a smooth, buttery flavour with a subtle nutty character and is designed for versatile everyday cooking.

With a high smoke point of approximately 250°C, this ghee is particularly well suited to high-temperature cooking. Use it for frying, roasting and sautéing, or melt it into pans when cooking meat, eggs and vegetables. It can also be used in baking wherever a rich buttery flavour is desired.

Ghee is traditionally used throughout Indian cooking and works especially well in curries, dhal, rice dishes and flatbreads. Its rich flavour also makes it useful for everyday Western-style cooking, from roasting potatoes and vegetables to frying eggs or finishing savoury dishes.

The clarification process removes most of the milk solids, leaving the finished ghee naturally very low in lactose and casein. The recipe contains no seed oils, vegetable oils, fillers or chemical preservatives, with organic grass-fed British ghee as the sole ingredient.
