Marigold Catering Less Salt Vegetable Bouillon Purple 2kg

Marigold Catering Less Salt Vegetable Bouillon is an instant vegetable stock powder developed for professional kitchens and high-volume food preparation. The purple-labelled recipe delivers a balanced savoury flavour with 37% less salt than Marigold Original Vegetable Bouillon.

The recipe contains 15% vegetables, including parsnip, onion, sweet potato, potato, carrot and leek, combined with herbs and spices such as parsley, turmeric, garlic, mace, lovage and nutmeg. It dissolves quickly in hot water and can be used to prepare vegetable stock or added directly to dishes as a seasoning.

This versatile bouillon is suitable for soups, stews, casseroles, sauces, gravies, rice and grain dishes. The economical 2kg catering tub makes approximately 100 litres of prepared stock when mixed using 20g of powder per litre.

Directions: Dissolve approximately 20g of bouillon powder in 1 litre of boiling water, or 5g in 250ml of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. The powder may also be added directly to food during cooking. Adjust the quantity to suit the recipe and required flavour.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the container tightly closed after opening and always use a clean, dry utensil.
