Marigold Less Salt Veg Bouillon Purple 500g

Marigold Reduced Salt Vegetable Bouillon is an instantly prepared stock powder made to a traditional Swiss-style recipe. The purple-pack recipe contains 37% less salt than Marigold Original Vegetable Bouillon while retaining the familiar savoury flavour that makes it a useful addition to everyday cooking.

Dissolve it in hot water to make vegetable stock for soups, stews, casseroles and risottos, or add a small amount directly to sauces, grains and savoury dishes as a convenient seasoning. The blend combines vegetables, herbs and spices including parsnip, onion, sweet potato, carrot, leek, parsley, turmeric and lovage.

The generous 500g tub makes up to 25 litres of prepared stock when mixed according to the recommended ratio, making it well suited to busy households and catering kitchens.

Directions

To prepare as stock, dissolve four level teaspoons, approximately 20g, in one litre of hot water. It may also be added sparingly during cooking as a seasoning. Adjust the quantity to suit the recipe and taste.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the container securely closed after opening and use a clean, dry spoon.
