Clipper Fairtrade Organic Assam Tea is a robust black tea with a bright appearance, full-bodied flavour and distinctive malty character. Made using organically grown Assam tea, it produces a rich and satisfying cup that can be enjoyed throughout the day, whether served on its own or with a splash of milk.

Assam tea is particularly valued for its depth and strength, making this blend a suitable choice for those who prefer a more pronounced black tea flavour. Each tea bag provides a convenient way to prepare a consistently flavourful cup at home, in the workplace or as part of a hospitality tea selection.

The tea is traded in compliance with Fairtrade standards, with 100% of the tea sourced under Fairtrade terms. Clipper has worked with Fairtrade since 1994, supporting efforts to improve working conditions and standards in tea-growing communities.

Clipper uses unbleached tea bags made from plant-based, non-GM materials. The tea bags are biodegradable and do not contain polypropylene, the conventional oil-based plastic commonly used to seal some tea bags. The outer cardboard box can be recycled, while used tea bags may be placed in an appropriate food waste collection where local facilities allow.

For the best results, use freshly boiled water and pour it directly over the tea bag. Allow the tea to brew for 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the desired strength. Remove the tea bag before serving and add milk or sweetener according to preference.
