Hu Salty 70% Dark Chocolate is a deliberately simple dark chocolate bar finished with sea salt. The salt heightens the roasted, slightly fruity notes of the cocoa and creates a savoury counterpoint to the coconut-sugar sweetness, resulting in a bar that moves between bitter, sweet and salty flavours without additional fillings or inclusions.

The recipe uses organic cocoa mass, organic unrefined coconut sugar, organic cocoa butter and sea salt, keeping the formulation exceptionally concise. Hu's dark chocolate is made without refined cane sugar, sugar alcohols, palm oil, lecithins or emulsifiers, and the bar is certified organic, Fairtrade, gluten free and suitable for vegan diets.

Its straightforward flavour makes it easy to serve in several ways: break into squares with coffee, pair with nuts or dried fruit, or add to a mixed chocolate board where the salty finish provides contrast to sweeter varieties. It can also be chopped for cookies and desserts when a 70% chocolate with a savoury edge is wanted. Twelve 60g bars provide 720g in total.
