Minton & Donello Maize Flour Polenta Flour is a finely milled flour made from 100% maize. Also known as fine polenta, it has a naturally golden colour, mild corn flavour and smooth texture, making it a versatile ingredient for traditional polenta as well as baking and everyday savoury cooking.

The maize is stone-milled from non-GMO corn to create a fine consistency that cooks into a smooth, creamy polenta. Simply simmer with water, stock or milk until thickened, then serve soft alongside vegetables, meat or sauces, or allow it to cool and set before slicing and grilling, baking or frying.

Its fine texture also makes it useful beyond traditional polenta. Add it to cakes, breads and other bakes for a subtle corn flavour and distinctive crumb, dust baking trays or pizza bases to help prevent sticking, or use small amounts to add body to soups, sauces and savoury dishes.

Containing maize flour as the sole ingredient, this polenta flour is naturally gluten free and suitable for both vegan and vegetarian diets. The maize originates from Argentina and the finished product is packed in the UK.
