The tea leaves are traditionally shade-grown in the hills of Uji, Kyoto, before being finely stone-ground into a powder. Unlike an infused tea bag, matcha is whisked directly into the drink, allowing the whole tea leaf to be enjoyed. Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (100%).

Preparation

Empty one sachet into a cup, add 30ml of hot water and whisk thoroughly. It can also be mixed with milk or an alternative drink to prepare a matcha latte, or added to smoothies and fruit juice.
