Ombar 72% Cacao Chocolate Bars are smooth dark chocolate bars made with a short recipe of organic cacao, coconut sugar and cocoa butter. With a minimum cocoa solids content of 72%, the chocolate delivers a pronounced cacao flavour balanced by the gentle, caramel-like sweetness of coconut sugar.

The cacao is processed at lower temperatures than those commonly used for heavily roasted chocolate, helping retain its distinctive flavour characteristics. The result is a smooth, cacao-rich bar with naturally fruity and floral flavour notes and a clean finish.

Organic coconut sugar is used in place of conventional refined cane sugar. Cocoa butter contributes to the bar's smooth texture and allows the chocolate to soften and melt gradually when eaten.

The recipe contains no milk ingredients and is suitable for vegan diets. It is also certified gluten free. However, the bars may contain peanuts and other nuts and are not suitable for people with a peanut or nut allergy.

The cacao and coconut sugar are Fair Trade verified to the World Fair Trade Organisation Standard, while the ingredients are certified organic by the Organic Food Federation. These certifications apply to the sourcing and production standards used for the ingredients.
