Fish4ever Azores Tuna Fillets in Organic Olive Oil are a premium jarred alternative to conventional canned tuna. Thick pieces of skipjack tuna are arranged by hand in glass jars and surrounded with organic extra virgin olive oil, creating an attractive product that can be served directly at the table.

The tuna is caught around the Azores using traditional pole-and-line fishing. Local boats land their catch close to Fish4ever’s cannery partner on the island of São Jorge, where the team works from whole tuna rather than imported, pre-processed frozen loins. This allows the fish to be cut into generous fillets and packed with care while maintaining a close connection between the fishery and the finished product.

The recipe contains 65% skipjack tuna, 34% organic extra virgin olive oil and 1% salt. The first cold-pressed olive oil has a rounded, gently fruity flavour that complements the tuna while helping the fillets remain moist and tender. Organic ingredients represent 34% of the finished recipe.

Typical nutritional values per 100g drained provide 156kcal, 30g of protein and 4.1g of fat, including 0.72g of saturates. The product contains no declared carbohydrate or sugar and provides 1g of salt per 100g drained.

Carefully lift the fillets from the jar and serve them whole over crunchy salad leaves, sliced tomatoes, olives and roasted peppers. They also pair well with warm potatoes, white beans, grilled vegetables or toasted sourdough. The olive oil can be whisked with lemon juice or vinegar for a dressing, spooned over the finished plate or stirred through pasta rather than being discarded.

The tuna fillets received a Great Taste Award in 2025, with the judges highlighting the generous pieces, tender texture and quality of the accompanying olive oil. This six-jar bundle is suitable for entertaining, regular premium-tuna meals or keeping a presentation-ready seafood option in the cupboard.

Each 150g portion is supplied in a glass jar with an aluminium lid. Both components are widely recyclable, and the cleaned jar may also be reused where appropriate.
