The tuna is already separated into smaller flakes, making it easy to mix evenly through sandwich fillings, salads, pasta dishes, fishcakes and other everyday recipes.

Fish4ever sources its skipjack tuna from the waters surrounding the Azores, where the fish are caught individually using traditional pole-and-line methods. The tuna is landed locally and prepared at the brand’s cannery partner on the island of São Jorge. Rather than working with imported, pre-processed tuna loins, the cannery prepares whole fish by hand, helping Fish4ever maintain a shorter and more traceable supply chain.

The straightforward recipe combines skipjack tuna with spring water and salt. Packing the fish in spring water keeps the flavour clean and savoury while avoiding the richer character of an oil-packed product. The finer flaked texture is particularly useful when preparing several portions because the tuna distributes consistently throughout sauces, dressings and fillings.

Typical values provide 22.3g of protein and 0.7g of fat per 100g drained, with no declared carbohydrate or sugar. Drain before use, or retain a small amount of the spring water when mixing the tuna with mayonnaise, yoghurt, cream cheese or mashed avocado to help create a softer filling.
