Fish4ever Azores Skipjack Tuna Flakes in Spring Water 160g x5

Fish4ever Azores Skipjack Tuna Flakes are smaller, ready-to-mix pieces of tuna packed in spring water. Their finer texture makes them particularly convenient for recipes where the tuna needs to distribute evenly through sauces, fillings, salads or cooked dishes.

The skipjack tuna is caught around the Azores using pole-and-line methods and landed locally for preparation at Fish4ever’s island cannery partner. The cannery works from whole tuna, with the fish prepared locally instead of being produced from frozen, pre-cut loins transported from a separate processing site.

Each tin contains 70% skipjack tuna, water and salt. The product supplies a declared 22.3g of protein per 100g, with 0g carbohydrate, 0.7g fat and 0.9g salt. Because the tuna is already flaked, it can be stirred directly into mayonnaise, yoghurt-based dressings, pasta sauces or mashed avocado with minimal preparation.

Use it for tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches, baked potatoes, pasta bakes, fishcakes or mixed bean salads. It also works well in recipes for several portions because the smaller flakes disperse consistently throughout the dish. Packed in five individual 160g tins, the bundle provides 800g in total while allowing each tin to remain sealed until required.
